By combining the physical and spiritual, we have created a space where you can flourish through Post Healthy and connect with God. As we actively pursue a relationship with God and find joy in His presence through worship, teaching, and communal support, we extend a warm invitation for you to join us. About Us
It is common knowledge that embarking on a journey to discover your purpose and faith can sometimes lead to feelings of pain, sorrow, and frustration. However, we have faith in God’s anointing, which empowers us to break free from the chains of demons, poverty, and other forms of brokenness, both in the natural and spiritual realms. At Connect Community Outreach Center, you will encounter the love of Jesus, the mercy of the Father, and the power of the Holy Spirit. We strongly believe in God’s incredible favor and transformative power. Post Healthy equips us to uphold our spiritual aspirations for individuals. Through our credit repair workshops, health seminars, and home buying sessions, we aim to equip our community members for all aspects of life.
Learning Opportunities
and courses
Our Basics is a course intended to help new and maturing believers. You will learn the basic principles concerning Faith, Christianity, God and the Bible. This three week course is designed to help build a solid Biblical foundation of faith and answer questions concerning God’s will and purpose for your life.
About the Founder
Serena Terry, the passionate founder behind Connect Community Outreach and the driving force of Post Healthy LLC, felt the Lord calling her to embark on a mission to foster healthier families, and communities in the local Milwaukee area.
In 2023, when she founded Post Healthy Inc, a non-profit organization, it was a response to a pressing need she observed within communities to prioritize health and care for the bodies God so carefully created. Witnessing alarming trends of obesity, premature deaths, and a departure from biblical health standards, Serena initiated Post Healthy LLC to address these multifaceted issues.
Through His love, God led Serena to do what He allows her to do. She identified a deeper need—the absence of many life skills, coupled with a widespread lack of financial literacy. This realization fueled her determination to create holistic change within the lives of individuals and families in the local area. Under the umbrella of Post Healthy LLC, Serena launched Connect Community Outreach, aiming to “connect the unconnected” and guide them towards Christ through prayer nights, free community classes, and outreach programs. The goal was to address not just physical health but to nurture spiritual, social, and life well-being.
Since its inception, Post Healthy Inc has made significant strides. Serena initiated the “Get Motivated and Get Healthy” Facebook group and hosted educational workshops, providing vital health-related information. Connect Community Outreach prepares sit-down hot family-style free meals for the community twice a month every month. Through its online presence, Connect Community Outreach also serves as a hub for community engagement and outreach. As of January 2024, Connect Community Outreach has established a brick and mortar location in Milwaukee.
Serena’s commitment extends beyond organized activities. Her efforts include providing financial assistance to those facing hardships, exemplifying a compassionate response to the immediate needs of her community. Serena is so grateful for God’s redemption and the love that God has shown her in her own personal journey, which has compelled her to share her story and continue to help those who are in need.
It is this divine love that leads her to continue helping those in need. While she envisions a world where churches, families, and communities thrive in health and harmony through their pursuit of the Lord, Serena remains humble, attributing all of her work to God’s guidance. Through Post Healthy LLC and Connect Community Outreach, she remains steadfast in her pursuit of transforming lives and cultivating community health, always with the understanding that it is God who leads her in this mission.
Who We Are?
The birth of “Connect” was a result of unaddressed and unresolved disparities within the community. Post Healthy took the lead in bringing about a transformation in the Milwaukee community by promoting holistic well-being. We collaborated with nutritionists and dieticians to create personalized meal plans, free of charge, for individuals looking to maintain, lose, or gain weight. In addition, Post Healthy organizes workshops on finance, health, lifestyle, and spirituality. We are continuously expanding our network of professionals who play a crucial role in educating us. Our partnerships include scientists, nurses, lawyers, realtors, doctors, and pastors.

Lunch for Life
Lunch For Life is more than just a meal—it’s a moment of kindness, a gesture of solidarity, and a beacon of hope. Bishop J. Franklin Tompkins and Evangelist Tompkins, “Lunch for Life” initiative through Gospel Truth New Life Ministries and Connect continues the efforts of improving hunger in the community. Twice a month, we venture into the heart of our community, seeking out those who have fallen on hard times. Our mission is simple yet profound: to provide warm, nourishing meals to homeless individuals in Milwaukee. Church leaders, professionals, and volunteers distribute food at rescue missions, parks, and other nearby locations. In every interaction, we strive to uplift spirits, build connections, and remind our community members that they are not forgotten. While we may not be able to solve every individual’s situation, we take pride in our contribution towards feeding others.
Upcoming Menopause Seminar
Partnering with Connect, in Post Healthy’s, “A Journey to Wellness” series, Dr. Zelda, raises awareness for women on the topic of Menopause. It is important for women to be aware of the signs and symptoms of menopause, as it can have a significant impact on their physical and emotional well-being. Common symptoms include hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, and sleep disturbances. By being aware of these symptoms, women can seek appropriate medical advice and support to manage them effectively.
Furthermore, raising awareness about menopause is crucial to dispel any misconceptions or stigma surrounding this natural phase of a woman’s life. It is not a disease or a sign of aging, but rather a normal transition that every woman goes through. By promoting awareness, we can empower women to embrace menopause as a natural part of their journey and provide them with the necessary information and resources to navigate this stage with confidence and ease.
